L’Agence de Médecine Préventive (AMP) et Gavi, l’Alliance du Vaccin organisent conjointement une conférence régionale « Leadership pour la chaîne d’approvisionnement de la santé et de la vaccination » en Côte d’Ivoire les 13 et 14 juin, afin de sensibiliser les pays en développement sur l’importance des investissements pour moderniser la chaîne d’approvisionnement en produits de santé et en vaccins.

This video, presented at the Geneva Health Forum, April 19-21, 2010, focuses on the implementation of the Côte d’Ivoire National Committee of Independent Experts for Immunization and Vaccines (CNEIV-CI). The committee was established with the support of the SIVAC Initiative, implemented by AMP in partnership with the International Vaccine Institute (IVI). The SIVAC Initiative, which is funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, aims to support the creation or strengthening of sustainable NITAGs in GAVI-eligible and middle-income countries.

The LOGIVAC project has been supporting the Comé health zone for the past six months to implement the strategic orientations defined by Benin’s Ministry of Health following an EVM + HERMES & CCEM evaluation conducted in 2012. In this context, a project team visited the health zone’s optimized supply chain on February 7, 2014.

The LOGIVAC project, jointly implemented by the Agence de Médecine Préventive (AMP) and the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to professionalize health logistics in Africa. The project has supported the implementation of the first training degree program in health logistics in Africa. Created by the University of Abomey-Calavi through a partnership with the Regional Institute of Public Health (IRSP), WHO, UNICEF, and Institut Bioforce, under the leadership of AMP, the first edition of the training was held in 2013.
