African Cholera Surveillance Network (Africhol)

Cholera is still a major cause of death in Africa despite the improvements in sanitation and drinking water. AMP and its partners contribute through the Africhol and VaxiChol projects to strengthening surveillance of this disease in endemic areas and by evaluating the optimal intervention strategies in the general population and special risk groups for cholera prevention and control, including immunization.
